Resonance Works revisits Giuseppe Verdi’s chilling Macbeth, the work that launched the company a decade ago. A new essentialist production directed by Frances Rabalais brings you closer than ever to this dark and timeless tale of ambition, guilt, and the alluring promises of power. Each member of our spectacular ensemble cast inhabits multiple roles, similar to the way Shakespeare’s original players would have presented it. A premiere chamber orchestration preserves the drama and music of Verdi’s score on a more intimate scale.
